Leadership styles.
Cool as a cucumber
Being calm and focused can make people flock to the leadership of a Cool as a Cucumber leader, as it allows them to concentrate on their own tasks.
Because this leader is calm on the outside, they may internalise stress and leave others out of the planning or progress reports. As a result, this can lead people to feel frustrated and more likely to micro-manage a Cool as a Cucumber leader.
The opportunity for this leader is to proactively present progress updates and acknowledgement for their team, so they can see what the leader sees.

Empathy Star
Empathy Star leaders excel at engaging people and making sure they feel seen, heard, and validated. Their ability to listen, be open, and consider others' perspectives allows them to create high-performing teams and make thoughtful decisions.
Other leadership styles may question their ability to focus on the bigger picture during challenging times.
The opportunity for Empathy Star leaders is to tailor their communication to different stakeholders.

Tool Master
Tool Master leaders take pride in their work, strive for best practices, and consistently deliver high-quality results. They value deep expertise and are often highly valued in organisations.
When stressed, Tool Master leaders may appear disinterested or avoid confrontation.
The opportunity for this style of leader is to be explicit with their positive intent, to give feedback, and ask for support explicitly.

Networking Leader
As a Networking leader, your natural charisma, advanced communication skills, and ability to make people feel valued and seen are your superpowers. For example, in a study of 87,000 leaders and employees, it was revealed that trust is primarily determined by the quality of relationships.
For others on the outside looking in, it can seem a bit of a mystery how this leader builds relationships.
The opportunity is for these leaders to show their logic, teach their teams the value of investing in people, and to educate them on ‘how’ of building interpersonal relationships.

End Game Legend
An End Game Legend leader is decisive, action-oriented, and reliable. Their determination and high standards contribute to their success.
Other team members may perceive their determination as a sign it’s not okay to share struggles or questions along the way. Equally, they might hold back from sharing wins.
The opportunity here is for these leaders to share wins, and teach their teams their toolkits.

Ideas generator
An Ideas Generator is a leader who can picture and describe the ‘future state’. Particularly valuable for times where innovation and creativity is needed, an Ideas Generator can see what others can’t.
Other team members may perceive this superpower as not always seeing the detail or the ‘how’.
The opportunity for an Ideas Generator is to learn about their stakeholders' reality so they can outline the milestones to achieve to get closer to a future state.
