Get Noticed: Melbourne (panel talk)

  • General Assembly 45 William Street (Lvl 12A) Melbourne VIC 3000 Australia (map)

Hear first-hand how Impostor Syndrome stops people from getting the salaries and learn tactics to getting noticed at work in a social, networking-friendly short talk and accompanying panel session.

Rachel will share a framework for communicating your expertise and provide a series of questions to ask yourself on the ride home to prompt: is it clear what I want to do next? Who do I need to know to get there?

Rachel will then be joined by hiring and people managers who manage growth plans at some of Australia's most influential and fastest growing organisations. The panel will be an opportunity to ask hiring managers questions about how to get noticed at work, how you can contribute to your growth plan, and opportunities to get shoulder tapped within your organisation.

This short talk and extended panel is most suited for individuals working for companies or seeking a role within a company, as opposed to individuals who are looking to run their own start up or business.

If you are considering a new role, it's an opportunity to network with the hiring managers themselves, ask questions to help you upskill and build relationships and potential mentor opportunities.

Free! RSVP here.
